Pragmatic C Software is a privately held company based in
Minneapolis. The company was founded in 1989 by its
current President Steven Meyer who has more than 20 years of
experience developing EDA tools.
In addition to developing Pragmatic C
software's ECAD tools, Steven's experience includes writing
the original LSI Logic ASIC Placement System and developing
the original elaborator for the Chronologic VCS simulator.
Many of the ideas for combining a Verilog interpreter and a fast compiler go
back to Steven's graduate study at UC Berkeley where he worked on the VERS
high level language project.
Some of our previous products included: the Valid Logic to
Verilog translator called Vcmp and the digital Verilog
simulator engine
integrated into Antrim Design's analog mixed signal simulation.
Currently, we develop and market the
CVC
high performance compiled Verilog simulator. See our
products
section for more information.
